1. At 1000 17 December 45 our patrol was fired on by a policeman on the central street of the city of Rezaye. There were no casualties. The policeman was detained by our commandant’s office. A document drawn up by representatives of local authorities is being forwarded by the latter to hold [the policeman] accountable.
2. The national government of Azerbaijan organized a parade in Tabriz in honor of the victory of the democratic movement. About 2000 partisans took part in the parade with their weapons. The parade was conducted in an organized manner [and] the population warmly greeted the passing columns of partisans.
3. All is quiet in the remaining garrisons of the 4th Army
