今日(十一月二日)下午,厦门前线口头广播,反复三次。
根据毛泽东手稿刊印。
[1]这个广播稿正式播出时,周恩来在“明日”前又增加了:“今日十一月二号,是个双日,我们一炮未打,你们得到补给。”一句。
Draft Broadcast Written for the Xiamen Frontline

Attention, Military and Civilian Compatriots on the Kinmen Islands [Quemoy; also spelled Jinen]:
Tomorrow, 3 November, is an odd-numbered day. You must make sure not to come outside. Do be careful![1]

Deliver to Premier Zhou.
The Xiamen Front must broadcast [the message] this afternoon (2 November) for three times.
[1] When this broadcast script was officially broadcast, Zhou Enlai added another sentence before "tomorrow": "Today is November 2nd, which is a even numbered day. We have not fired a single shot, and you have received supplies."
Mao sends a message to be broadcast to Taiwan warning that the shelling of Kinmen Island would continue on odd-numbered days.
