Soong, Mei-ling 1898 - 2003

Soong Mei-ling (宋美齡; also spelled Soong May-ling), also known as Madame Chiang (蔣夫人) played a prominent role in Chinese politics and foreign relations in the first half of the 20th century. She was the wife of Chiang Kai-shek.
