In a meeting with the PRC military delegation, Kim Kwang-hae gives a report to express gratitude on military, economic and technical aid from China and confirms the mutual friendship between PRC and DPRK.

Kim Il Sung and Puzanov discuss Soviet-DPRK relations, a the proposed visit by Khrushchev to Korea, Sino-Soviet relations, the economic situation in North Korea, and North Korea's views on recent events in South Korea.

Puzanov reports on the premises selected to house the Soviet exhibition on the use of atomic energy for peaceful purposes.

V. Pelishenko recounts a meeting with Pak Jeong-ae in which the two discussed inter-Korean relations and North Korean economic planning.

Puzanov and Nam Il discuss upcoming Soviet-Korean talks about border issues, the timeframe of sending Soviet specialists to provide assistance for new DPRK banknotes, and the possibility of sending Nam Il's sons to the USSR for medical treatment.

Kim Il Sung tells Puzanov that the North Korean delegation to Moscow seeks consultation for the first DPRK five-year plan and the development of economic ties between the DPRK and the USSR. He states the expected North Korean production increases in agriculture, industry, consumer goods, capital investment, and export goods. Kim Il Sung also articulates the intended goals of the first five-year plan.

Kim Il Sung requests technical assistance from the Soviet Unions for currency reforms in DPRK. He and Puzanov then discuss plans for elections in North Korea, DPRK agricultural and fishing conditions, progress in construction, and the exchange of delegations between the two countries. Later, Puzanov meets with the PRC Ambassador to the DPRK, Qiao Xiaoguang. They discuss the potential American bid to legalize weapons deliveries to South Korea as well as USSR and PRC consultation for the DPRK five-year plan.

Puzanov and Nam Il discuss the possibility of Soviet military advisers to North Korea. Then they talk about the guest list for a comradely lunch, the TASS statement, and Kim Il Sung's deteriorated health due to the stresses of party consolidation.
