This file includes Saddam's discussions with the Jordanian Arab Democratic Youth in which he states that if Israel attacked iraq with an atomic bomb, Iraq would respond with chemical weapons. He also states his desire to schedule a meeting with the leaders of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and the UAE in which they would discuss the decrease of petroleum prices.

Fax letter from King Fahd of Saudi Arabia, to the Emir of Kuwait, Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, proposing a meeting between the Deputy Crown Prince of Kuwait and Izzat Ibrahim. Letter dated to 8 days before Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.

The Chancellor's [Helmut Kohl's] Meeting with Egyptian President Hosny Mubarak in Bonn on 30 March 1993, 15.30-17.20 hours

Kohl and Mubarak discuss the recent bomb attack in Cairo and the question of the assassins. Upon Kohl's question, Mubarak rejects the idea that Libya and Gaddafi could be behind it. Rather, Mubarak suggests the changes in Gaddafi’s position and the latter's concern about fundamentalist terror in Libya. Mubarak thinks Iran was behind the terror attack in Cairo.
