Tariq Aziz briefed Saddam on the internal relations in Europe, especially between East and West Germany before the collapse of the Berlin Wall and the weaknesses of Communism and Socialism.

He said that it's a hopeless case because the great countries are running after their own benefits even if it's against its own friends. He adds that if America follows this policy, it will commit political suicide in the region.
