October 7, 1977	Report on Visits to the Mongolian People's Republic and the Democratic People's Republic of Korea In September 1977, W. Jaruzelski visited Mongolia and the DPRK. While in North Korea, Jaruzelski met with President Kim Il Sung and the Minister of National Defense O Jin U. Although Jaruzelski did make several critical comments about the DPRK in his secret post-trip report, he still spoke in highly favorable terms about the country and generally recommended that Poland strengthen its relations with North Korea. Jaruzelsk's report also includes commentary on China's relations with both Mongolia and the DPRK.
October 23, 1949	Cable Telegram no. 59363 from Kovalev to Stalin, containing a message from Mao Zedong Mao details the actions of the Worker's Party of South Korea, its attempted actions and its repression by state authorities in the last month, and reiterates that he advised against offensive action.
September 16, 1952	Report, Zhou Enlai to the Chairman [Mao Zedong] and the Central Committee Zhou Enlai updates Mao Zedong on the latest conversations with Stalin and other members of the Soviet leadership. Topics of discussion included Soviet technical assistance to China, developments in the Korean War, the United Nations, and the formation of a regional organization for Asia.
September 13, 1952	Cable, Zhou Enlai to Chairman Mao Zhou Enlai reports that Kim Il Sung, Pak Heon-yeong, and Peng Dehuai will reach Beijing on October 16.
September 2, 1952	Report, Zhou Enlai to the Chairman [Mao Zedong] and the Central Committee Zhou Enlai and Peng Dehuai try to persuade Kim Il Sung to fight until the United States proposes negotiations.
October 12, 1973	Verbatim Transcript of the Third Meeting between Prime Minister Trudeau and Premier Zhou Enlai Zhou Enlai and Trudeau have a wideranging conversation on international politics, covering the Vietnam War, Sino-Japanese relations, Nixon's visit to China, the Arab-Israeli conflict, the Arctic circle, and nuclear energy safeguards, among other topics.
May 15, 1949	Telegram, Shtykov to Vyshinsky Shtykov recounts a recent meeting between Kim Il and Mao Zedong.
June 25, 1960	Journal of Soviet Ambassador in the DPRK A.M. Puzanov for 25 June 1960 Kim Il Sung gathers senior North Korean officials to inform them of the results of his visit to Moscow, and vehemently criticizes Mao Zedong.
January 18, 1968	Note Number 48 from Louis de Guiringaud to His Excellency M. Couve de Murville, 'Relations between Communist Countries' Describing problems amongst communist countries, the Polish Ambassador to Japan reports that "Mao Zedong considered himself as the heir of the Chinese Emperors and treated the Ambassadors as such." The Ambassador also describes kidnappings carried out by the North Korean government.
May 14, 1950	Ciphered Telegram No. 8600, Vyshinsky to Mao Zedong The cable contains Stalin’s personal response to Mao's 13 May telegram. Using the code-name “Filippov,” Stalin confirms his agreement with the North Korean proposal to “move toward reunification,” contingent on Beijing’s agreement.
