This issue includes instructions on the treatment of rural farmers, a civil affairs work plan, the establishment of counties and the revocation of autonomous prefectures, a trade agreement between China and Egypt, and technology cooperation between China and Yugoslavia. It also discusses agriculture, measures to strengthen the Ministry of Forestry’s production level, an afforestation campaign, public health initiatives, arrangements for primary and secondary school students’ winter break, construction of school buildings and improvements in education, and an order for flags to be lowered to half-staff to mark the passing of Romania's Grand National Assembly Chairman.

Notes preparing the Romanian delegation for a meeting with the Shah of Iran. Stresses Romania's desire to develop and diversify its economic relations with Iran, in spite all the difficulties posed by the closing of the Suez Canal.

Policy Memorandum from the Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, No. 05/03901, 'Request of the United Arab Republic Government that Romania Stops Using the Oil Pipeline Eilat-Mediterranean Sea to Transport Crude Imported from Iran'

Romanian Deputy Foreign Minister, Petru Burlacu met with the charge d'affaires of the United Arab Republic in Bucharest, Fikry Mehanny Nakhla. Nakhla told Burlacu that he had discovered that the Romanians used the Eilat-Mediterranean Sea pipeline to transport oil from Iran which went through Egypt, and asked that this stop. Romanian government decided to leave this request unanswered. Topics of memorandum also included bilateral relations between Romania and Iran.

Telegram from Valeriu Georgescu, Extrordinary Envoy and Plenipotentiary Minister of Romania in Tel Aviv, Regarding the Position of the Israeli Communist Party vis-a-vis the [Israeli] conflict with Arab Nations

S. Mikunis, Secretary General of the Israeli Communist Party, thanks the Romanian envoy for Romania's support during the recent Arab-Israeli War. He compares this to the Soviet position, which he characterizes as aggressively anti-Israel and anti-socialist. He accuses the USSR of instigating Egypt's attack. He also denies the existence of any atrocities against civilians by the Israeli army in the occupied territories.
