October 14, 1983	Letter, E. Silin, Deputy Chairman of the Soviet Peace Committee, to Bruce Kent In this letter, Silin draws attention to a major "anti-war manifestation" in Moscow opposing the deployment of the Euromissiles in Western Europe. He claims that it attracted 800,000 participants - a highly exaggerated figure.
October 1, 1983	Letter, Yuri Zhukov to Members of the CND In this letter, Zhukov invites the CND to cooperate with the Soviet Peace Committee to prevent the deployment of Cruise and Pershing missiles in Western Europe. He also draws attention to a peace rally held in Moscow, likening this to the demonstrations being held in Western Europe in opposition to the Euromissiles.
December 6, 1983	Letter, Yuri Zhukov, President of the Soviet Peace Committee, to Bruce Kent In this letter, Zhukov sets out how, from the Soviet perspective, the Soviets have been working towards peace but the deployment of Cruise and Pershing missiles in Western Europe derailed arms control talks in Geneva and has made the international situation markedly worse. He invites the CND to work with the Soviet Union "to further our common struggle for a nuclear-free Europe."
February 7, 1955	Memorandum for Mr. Allen Dulles, Director, Central Intelligence Agency The Department of State shares with the CIA several documents, including a record of conversation between Anthony Eden and a Soviet diplomat in London on February 2, 1955; a record of conversation between Ambassador Hayter and Molotov on February 4; a translation of Molotov's statement made to Hayter; and comments made by Humphrey Trevelyan.
Date unknown	If the Russians Will Shoot Down an Unarmed Plane They Will Bomb an Unarmed Britain This poster produced by Youth for Multilateral Disarmament refers to the downing of civilian passenger flight KAL 007 on 1 September 1983 by the Soviet Union. The poster argues that by getting rid of its nuclear weapons, the UK would make itself more vulnerable to a Soviet attack, not less as suggested by peace groups.

March 11, 1991	The Chancellor’s [Helmut Kohl's] Telephone Conversation with British Prime Minister Major on Monday, 4 March 1991 Kohl and Major examine the situation in Iraq. Both reject the idea to send troops to Baghdad and to catch Saddam Hussein.
Date unknown	Who's Behind the So-Called 'Peace Movements'? This poster produced by Youth for Multilateral Disarmament depicts Stalin holding a mask, suggesting that the UK peace movement is simply a Communist or Soviet front in an attempt to discredit peace organisations.
1983	30 Questions and Honest Answers about CND [Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament] Pamphlet produced by the Coalition for Peace through Security, using the same format and questions as a Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament pamphlet but with a very similar title but providing markedly different answers.
July 2, 1961	Record of a Conversation [between] N. S. Khrushchev and F. Roberts, British Ambassador in the USSR concerning the Signing of a Peace Treaty with the Two German States The two parties discuss the national exhibitions in Moscow and London, and opportunities for trade between England and the Soviet Union. Khrushchev puts forth his intentions to sign the peace agreement with Germany as soon as possible and to declare Berlin a free city. Roberts is worried that the peace agreement will limit the rights of Western nations in Western Germany and Western Berlin.
