March 31, 1966	Embassy, Havana, Report on the State of the Cuban Communist Party In a report on the Cuban Communist Party, Bulgarian Embassy counselor S. Cohen discusses strengths and concerns with the Cuban goverment. The Cuban revolutionary movement debunked the theory of geographically determined fatalism, but also displays a strong dependence on the Latin American liberation movement (e.g. Jose Mari, Simon Bolivar) for inspiration instead of socialist principles. Cohen reports negative developments including the Cuban government’s growing ambition to rule the Third World revolutionary movement and strong belief in the Cuban armed struggle as a template for all national liberation movements. The Cuban delegation strongly endorsed armed struggle as the only means of socialist advancement at the Tricontinental Conference recently held in Havana. Bulgaria must remain close with the Cuban government to help it develop economically and mature politically.
March 3, 1965	Bulgarian Embassy, Havana (Kulbov), Information Regarding The Latin American Communist Parties’ Conference First Secretary of the Bulgarian Embassy to Cuba A. Hubenov describes a Latin American communist party conference held in Havana, November 1964. The parties secretly discussed their struggle against imperialism and the expansion of communist revolutions in Latin America and Cuba's assistance to that struggle. Conference deliberations included a discussion of the Sino-Soviet split and the fear of factions within the communist movement.
April 5, 1965	Note of Polish-Soviet Talks in Warsaw on 5 April 1965 Exceprts from Polish-Soviet talks on 5 April 1965 that concern the Cuban issue. Brezhnev discusses the recent visit by Raul Castro, that they have very good relations and that the Cuban leaders are worried about the withdrawal of Soviet troops from Cuba. Kosygin discusses the fact that China is becoming more isolated and what that does for relations between Asia and Latin America.
August 13, 1963	Italian Communist Ugo Pecchioli, Report on Trip to Cuba Italian Communist, Ugo Pecchioli, reports on his trip to Cuba. He discusses: the relative international situation of Cuba; meetings with Fidel Castro; the profound divergence that exists (in his opinion) between the Chinese Communist Party and the great majority of the other communist parties; the development of the struggle for democracy and socialism in different Latin American countries; and Italian and Cuban communist party relations.
November 6, 1962	Telegram from the Brazilian Embassy in Havana (Bastian Pinto), 10:30 a.m., Tuesday Pinto calls to attention the rude and violent tone of the proclamations of support to Cuba on the part of China contrasting with the relative moderation of the USSR and of its satellites. Pinto believes Mao is "taking a shot" at Khrushchev.
April 28, 1960	Excerpts of the Memorandum of the Conversation between Mao Zedong and Blas Roca Calderio, the Party Secretary of the Popular Socialist Party of Cuba A diplomatic conversation between Chairman Mao and Calderio from Cuba. They discuss the China-Cuba relations, economic aid to Cuba and Cuba's relations with other Central American and Latin America countries.
November 18, 1960	Memorandum of the Conversation between Premier Zhou Enlai and Cuban Revolutionary Government Economic Delegation A discussion of Cuba's economic import/export and production capacities and other factors of the economic situation in Cuba.
November 19, 1960	Memorandum of Conversation between Mao Zedong and Ernesto 'Che' Guevara A diplomatic meeting of a global communist delegation. Many topics are discussed, including: the domestic situation in Cuba, especially the economic situation (for example: sugar sales); American influence and counter-revolutionaries; and comparison to the domestic situation in other Latin and Central American countries, such as: Peru, Colombia, Brazil, etc.).
November 21, 1960	Memorandum of Conversation between Vice-Chairman Zhou Enlai, Party Secretary of the Cuban Popular Socialist Party Manuel Luzardo, and Member of National Directory Ernesto Che Guevara A diplomatic conversation covering China-Cuba relations, especially economic situations and the aid China is giving to Cuba.
February 11, 1961	Cable from the Chinese Embassy in Cuba, 'Memorandum of Conversation between China’s Ambassador to Cuba, Shen Jian, and Cuban Prime Minister Fidel Castro' A diplomatic meeting between Fidel Castro and Shen Jian (from China) in which they discuss the Cuban revolution, US-Cuban relations and imperialism.
