May 20, 1978	Minutes of Conversation at the Official Meeting between the Romanian Delegation and the Korean Delegation Minutes of conversation between Nicolae Ceausescu and Kim Il Sung; the topic of the conversation is the domestic situation (mostly economic) in North Korea and the foreign relations of Romania and North Korea.
April 1, 1976	Telegram from Belgrade to Bucharest, SECRET, Regular, No. 017.807 The Embassy of Romania in Belgrade assesses the "tense" situation in Korea.
December 2, 1974	Minutes of Conversation between Comrade Nicolae Ceausescu and Kim Dong-gyu Kim and Ceausescu discuss the international political atmosphere. Kim shows his concern for the intensification of dissident movements in South Korea. The conversation highlights the fragility of military dictatorships as evidenced by the cases of Portugal and Greece.
August 19, 1974	The Official Visit Paid by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Romania to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea The document describes a cordial bilateral relationship between the DPRK and Romania. Pyongyang expresses its desire to continue consulting with Bucharest regarding the issue of dismantling UN bodies in South Korea. In addition, North Korea notes the imperative of establishing direct contact with the United States and plans on using Washington's positive or negative response to its advantage.
August 29, 1973	Telegram from Pyongyang, No.061.360, Urgent, SECRET The document mentions a forthcoming North Korean condemnation of Kim Dae-jung's abduction in Tokyo by KCIA agents. The author states that the declaration will ask Lee Hu-rak to be removed from co-presidency of the North-South Coordination Committee. Pyongyang seeks Romanian support in publicizing the North Korean position.
August 1973	Romanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Note, No. 01/010124/73, Secret The document outlines Romania's position regarding the issue of unification of the Korean Peninsula. After a summary of inter-Korean negotiations thus far, the report concludes that the two Koreas are moving very slowly because both sides are attempting to gain advantage over the other. Nonetheless, Romania declares its firm support of the DPRK.
June 19, 1973	Telegram from Pyongyang , No.061.240, Urgent, SECRET The North Koreans follow Romanian advice and allow the submission of their letter to Congress through the US State Department.
June 7, 1973	Telegram from Washington, DC, No.084.504, Urgent, SECRET Romanian official in the US warns Bucharest that relaying the letter from the DPRK to US public officials in the manner requested by Pyongyang may damage Romanian relations with the US. The official recommends a more normal procedure recommended to him by US officials and suggests convincing the North Koreans to follow a different method of sending its message to US congress.
March 31, 1973	Telegram from Pyongyang, No.061.087, Urgent, SECRET Popa discusses active North Korean attempts to eliminate military confrontation in the North-South Coordination Committee and points to South Korean engagement in duplicitous actions by both suing for peace and preparing for war.
