COOPERATION PROGRAMME BETWEEN THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY AND THE FRENCH COMMUNIST PARTY.
The two parties are pleased with the implementation of their cooperation programme in 1983. They agree on the following cooperation programme for 1984:
1/ Comrade Hu Yaobang is reaffirming his invitation to Comrade Georges Marchais and his family to visit China on holidays. [handwritten] G. Marchais is considering this opportunity. [end handwritten]
2/ The two parties will exchange study delegations at dates that they will set later on. The CCP is inviting the PCF study delegation on economic matters scheduled for 1983; the PCF is inviting the CCP’s International Liaison Department study delegation scheduled for 1983.
3/ The CCP is inviting a delegation of PCF federal officials in China.
4/ The CCP is sending representatives at the Fête de l’Humanité1.
5/ The CCP and the PCF will continue to regularly exchange their newspapers.
6/ The Humanité will ensure that a correspondent is present in Beijing. He will ensure contacts between the PCF and the CCP. The CCP will support him in his endeavour. The PCF also will help Chinese comrades ensuring contacts between the two parties in France.
7/ The two parties will ensure the development of relations between their youth organisations.
8/ The two parties’ research institutes will foster contacts and cooperation.
9/ The CCP is inviting the PCF’s C.C. to send two couples for holidays in China. The PCF is inviting the CCP’s C.C. to send one couple for holidays in France.
10/ The two parties are contributing to the development of friendship and solidarity between their peoples as well as the development of cooperation between the two countries.
The Chinese Communist Party and the French Communist Party agree on ten cooperation program for the exchange of personnel and information.
