Bush, George H.W.

George Herbert Walker Bush was the 41st President of the United States. Earlier in his career, Bush served as Ambassador to the UN, 1971-1973; Director, CIA, 1976-1977; and Vice President, United States, 1981-1989, among other positions. George Bush's many years of civic service climaxed with his presiding over the end of the Cold War.
