A conversation between USSR Ambassador to China Chervonenko and Mongolian Ambassador to China Tsevegmid, where Tsevegmid relates a discussion between Chinese Premier Zhou Enlai and Mongolian Council of Ministers Chairman Luvsan on the recalling of Chinese workers from the Mongolian countryside. Tsevegmid's opinion is that the Chinese would be willing to provide more aid to Mongolia if the country backed down from it's strict Communist principles.

Tsedenbal and Enlai discuss China's sending workers to Mongolia, and the sending of goods from Mongolia to China. Additionally, the two argue about which country is following the proper ideological line, and about what propaganda materials are being printed in Mongolia.

Ambassador Chervonenko records an unexpected and surprisingly warm meeting with Mao in which the leader talks about his lessened role in the Chinese government.

The Romanian Ambassador to China and Yu Zhan, the director of the USSR and East European Directorate, discuss an incident involving a flight by members of a Romanian delegation led by Cde. Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej over Chinese territory. The USSR Ambassador, Comrade S. V. Chervonenko, was also present.
