June 30, 1950	Cable No. 405743, Shtykov to Stalin North Korea requests supplies and weapons from the Soviet Union.
November 3, 1949	Cable Nos. 826-827 from Shtykov Shtykov requests the Soviet government to give Koreans further aid in instruments for an arsenal.
October 23, 1949	Cable Telegram no. 59363 from Kovalev to Stalin, containing a message from Mao Zedong Mao details the actions of the Worker's Party of South Korea, its attempted actions and its repression by state authorities in the last month, and reiterates that he advised against offensive action.
September 16, 1952	Report, Zhou Enlai to the Chairman [Mao Zedong] and the Central Committee Zhou Enlai updates Mao Zedong on the latest conversations with Stalin and other members of the Soviet leadership. Topics of discussion included Soviet technical assistance to China, developments in the Korean War, the United Nations, and the formation of a regional organization for Asia.
September 13, 1952	Cable, Zhou Enlai to Chairman Mao Zhou Enlai reports that Kim Il Sung, Pak Heon-yeong, and Peng Dehuai will reach Beijing on October 16.
October 3, 1949	Cable, Filippov [Stalin] to the Soviet Ambassador, Pyongyang Stalin asks the ambassador to find the Minister of Foreign Affairs in Beijing and tell him that they agree with the DPRK's thinking on the feasibility of establishing diplomatic relations between the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the People's Republic of China.

Attached are three appendices on the combat and strength of the South Korean and the People's Army of North Korea, the amount of weapons in the People's Army, and the amount of ammunition in the People's Army as of August 1, 1949.
October 12, 1948	Telephone Message via VCh, I. Stalin to Kim Il Sung Telegram from Stalin to Kim Il Sung acknowledging Kim's telegram from the 8th of October. Stalin states that the Soviet government is ready to begin diplomatic relations with the DPRK, exchange ambassadors, and start economic relations
May 12, 1947	Cable No. 121973, Meretskov and Shytkov to Cde. Stalin A request to send Soviet specialists to North Korea. The DPRK especially needs engineers to help them build railways. Shtykov notes that if the Koreans don’t receive aid from the Soviets, they'll turn to the Americans.
March 13, 1962	Cable from Hao Deqing, 'Talks during Premier Kim's Reception of Ambassador Hao' Kim Il Sung discusses the Third Plenum of the Korean Workers' Party, prospects for the Party's growth an future, and the dogma underpinning the KWP movements.
