March 19, 1971	Letter, UNCURK Principal Secretary Kuzbari to UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan UNCURK members meet with Kim Dae Jung, who states his key issues for the election: ROK democracy, corruption within intelligence collection, suppression of opposition parties by the ruling party, and unification. UNCURK member observe that Kim's party is weak because of party factionalism. Additionally, President Park Chung Hee announces his run for third term and emphasizes economic and political stability.
March 12, 1971	Letter, UNCURK Principal Secretary Kuzbari to UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan In connection with the general election, the questions of President Park' Chung Hees electability, unification, and campaign finances are discussed.
January 15, 1971	Letter, UNCURK Principal Secretary Kuzbari to UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan President Park Chung Hee reiterates that his main priority is the South Korean economy. He believes that a strong economy will allow for unification and stronger national security. Additionally, Park believes that the power balance in East Asia will depend on China's progress.
December 31, 1970	Letter, UNCURK Principal Secretary Kuzbari to UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan Kuzbari briefs Narasimhan on election and national security updates in South Korea, including the campaigns of Kim Dae Jung and Park Chung Hee; the debate over ROK forces in Vietnam; DPRK and ROK naval clashes over what DPRK speculates to be a spy boat but ROK states is a fishing boat; and discussion concerning the return of the North Korean pilot who crash landed in South Korea.
May 8, 1970	Letter, UNCURK Principal Secretary Kuzbari to UN Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan Principal Secretary of UNCURK Kuzbari updates Chef de Cabinet Narasimhan on the NDP's return to the National Assembly yet their limited authority and Park Chung Hee's extension of only non-military assistance to Cambodia.
March 9, 1970	Letters between ROK President Park Chung Hee and UN Secretary-General U Thant Park Chung Hee asks for U Thant and the UN's support of the ROK in releasing the remaining 11 people from the KAL YS-11 hi-jacking incident in North Korea. U Thant acknowledges that he has no influence on DPRK authorities.

Narasimhan on the release of 39 South Korean passengers on the KAL plane YS-11 and President Park Chung Hee's appeal to end National Assembly boycotts.
