January 27, 1969	Letter, L.I. Brezhnev to Gamal Abdel Nasser Brezhnev congratulates Nasser on strengthening Egypt's national independence and rebuffing against imperial actions in the Middle East. Brezhnev clearly states the Soviet Union's commitment to supporting Egypt against Israeli aggression.
July 6, 1968	Minutes of the Discussions between Cdes. L.I. Brezhnev, A.N. Kosygin, N.V. Podgorny and UAR President Nasser, 6 July 1968 Brezhnev and Nasser discuss the relationship between their two governments and brainstorm ways to sustain Soviet-Egyptian cooperation. Special attention is given to combating Western imperialism and increasing Soviet military aid to Egypt.

December 1958	Untitled Note on a Request for Assistance from the Socialist Party of Cuba to the Central Committee of the CPSU The Cuban communists asked the Soviets for help exposing the government's “terror” and the interference of “American imperialism” in Cuba’s affairs. The CPSU’s Central Committee agreed to support the fight of the Cuban people in the press, radio, and public organizations in the closing months of 1958.
August 1961	Record of Conversations between Cde. N. S. Khrushchev, First Secretary of the CPSU CC, and Ho Chi Minh, Chairman of the CC of the VWP Khrushchev and Ho Chi Minh discuss global tensions around imperialism, nuclear disarmament, and peace talks over Germany. They review worsening Soviet relations with Albania and China, as Albania aligns with Beijing and Western powers. The leaders also address the conflicts in Laos and South Vietnam, balancing support for revolutionary forces with concerns over provoking US intervention.
