Nam Il reports to Puzanov that the KWP Presidium approved all USSR suggestions on the DPRK's draft five-year plan. They go on to discuss the commissions that exist in the Soviet Union and plans for organizing DPRK commissions. At a luncheon later that day, Kim Il Sung reiterates his gratitude for USSR consultation on DPRK economic development with Puzanov reminding the DPRK of its trade obligations.

The PRC Ambassador Qiao Xiaoguang invited a Soviet delegation to the Chinese People's Volunteers headquarters where they honor deceased Chinese People's Volunteers and Mao Zedong's son. On the second day, they visit the DPRK's largest gold mine. Puzanov gives a detailed account of the mine's production capability and the training and services provided for mine workers.

Kim Il Sung tells Puzanov that he endorses organized public screenings of Socialist Revolution films. Nam Il and Kim Il Sung suggest a bilateral convention regarding dual citizenship, and Nam Il reports that the KWP CC is occupied with the investigation of anti-Party activity in the KWP leadership. Puzanov recommends that they inform the PRC Ambassador Qiao Xiaoguang about developments in this regard as soon as possible.

Puzanov and Pak Ui-wan discuss the construction of the Soviet Embassy in North Korea, the KWP CC leadership's suspicions against factionalists, and Pak Ui-wan's efforts to clear himself of suspicion. Later, Puzanov meets with Nam Il and discusses railroad construction, the second session of the World Meteorological Organization, settling citizenship issues, and the sale of goods for agricultural products from collective farms in the Soviet Union.

Puzanov conveys the USSR invitation for a DPRK delegation to celebrate the 40 anniversary of the Great October Sovialist Revolution, and then he and Kim Il Sung discuss timber harvesting, a letter to the CPSU Central Committee, aid to a Korean newspaper in the Kazakh SSR, and the exchange of friendly delegations.

Kim Il Sung and Puzanov discuss the possibility of Korean citizens in Japan studying in DPRK higher education institutions, matters of the DPRK's draft five-year plan and terms of trade between the Soviet Union and North Korea, factionalist activities against the KWP leadership and DPRK government, and South Korean insurgency against North Korea leading up to DPRK elections.

Puzanov and Nam Il discuss upcoming Soviet-Korean talks about border issues, the timeframe of sending Soviet specialists to provide assistance for new DPRK banknotes, and the possibility of sending Nam Il's sons to the USSR for medical treatment.

Puzanov meets with North Korean leaders at a sporting events in celebration of Korea's liberation, and they discuss friendly sports exchanges between the Soviet Union and DPRK. Kim Il Sung informs Puzanov that the DPRK will revise its draft of the first five-year plan according to Soviet suggestions before the economic delegation goes to China for consultation. Later, the Russian and Bulgarian Embassies host a successful showing of a film, and the Soviets inform the PRC Ambassador Qiao Xiaoguang of Soviet consultations of the DPRK economic plan.

Puzanov participates in the meeting to welcome the unofficial North Korean economic delegation's return from the USSR. In his conversation with Pak Jeong-ae and Kim Chang-man, Puzanov suggests that Soviet journalists visit many different sectors of DPRK society to provide a more thorough understanding of North Korea.

At a conference of Ambassadros, Puzanov offers information on the DPRK's economic progress and the USSR's achievements since the Great October Socialist Revoloution. He also visits Nam Il and inquires about the investigations of anti-Party North Korean leaders and North Korean greetings to USSR officials.
